What were the latest Express Entry draw results?

The latest Express Entry draw was Round #447 on October 1, 2026, a trades occupations category round issuing 3,500 invitations to apply (ITAs) at a CRS cut-off of 476. It followed Round #446 (September 29), a Canadian Experience Class round of 2,000 ITAs at 518, and Round #445 (September 28), a Provincial Nominee Program round of 733 ITAs at 725. Before those, Round #444 (September 16) was a senior managers with Canadian work experience category round of 250 ITAs at 389, Round #443 (September 15) was a Canadian Experience Class round of 2,000 ITAs at 519, and Round #442 (September 14) was a Provincial Nominee Program round of 576 ITAs at 734. The full list of the most recent rounds is in the table below.

Together the 2026 rounds show the pattern at a glance. Provincial Nominee Program rounds carry very high cut-offs (697 to 805) because every invited candidate already holds a +600 nomination. French-language rounds invite the most candidates of any category, and the August 19 round at 382 was the lowest French line of the year. The Canadian Experience Class runs in between, with cut-offs from 507 to 523. There was still no general all-program IRCC draw. The 2026 category list that produced these rounds is one of the Canada immigration changes 2026 we track, alongside the fee, study permit and LMIA changes made this year.

Read across the table and the logic of each Express Entry draw is clear. In a typical cluster the French-language round invites the most candidates at the lowest CRS cut-off, the Canadian Experience Class round sits in the middle, and the Provincial Nominee Program round has the smallest size and the highest cut-off because every invited candidate already carries a +600 nomination. If CEC is your stream, check your points against the CEC cut-off before the next round. The full, continuously updated draw history sits in the live table below.

What was the latest CEC draw?

The latest Canadian Experience Class draw was Round #446 on September 29, 2026: 2,000 invitations at a CRS cut-off of 518, the 17th CEC round of 2026, whose cut-offs ranged from 507 to 523.

  • Round #446, September 29, 2026: 2,000 invitations, CRS cut-off 518.

This tracker updates itself

This table is pulled directly from IRCC's open-data feed and refreshes in the background several times a day, so you see each new round of invitations shortly after IRCC publishes it, no manual updates needed. You can cross-check any figure against the IRCC rounds-of-invitations page on canada.ca, which remains the authoritative record.

How do Express Entry draws work?

An Express Entry draw, which IRCC officially calls a round of invitations, is the moment IRCC reaches into the pool of profiles and invites the top-ranked candidates to apply for permanent residence. Every profile in the pool carries a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score out of 1,200. For each round, IRCC decides the category and how many invitations to issue; the CRS cut-off is simply the score of the lowest-ranked candidate invited.

If you are at or above that cut-off in an eligible category, you receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) and have 60 days to submit a complete application. Because the cut-off is set by where the line falls each time, it moves from round to round. There is no fixed pass mark.

Nobody, IRCC included, publishes an Express Entry draw prediction. What you can do is read the previous rounds. The Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) program has had no dedicated round in 2026, so a candidate with only foreign experience depends on a category draw or a provincial nomination, while the CEC and French-language cut-offs move inside a fairly narrow band you can see in the history table above. Provincial rounds are tracked separately on our latest PNP draws page.

  1. 01

You enter the Express Entry pool

You create an online profile and receive a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score out of 1,200 based on factors such as age, education, language and work experience. See how many candidates are waiting in the pool to gauge the competition.

  2. 02

IRCC chooses a category and a draw size

For each round of invitations, IRCC decides the category (program-specific or category-based) and how many Invitations to Apply to issue.

  3. 03

The CRS cut-off is set by where the line falls

IRCC invites the highest-ranked candidates first, so the CRS cut-off is the score of the lowest-ranked candidate invited in that draw. It moves from round to round.

  4. 04

Invited candidates apply within 60 days

If you are at or above the cut-off in an eligible category, you receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) and have 60 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence. See how long the rest of the process takes once you are invited.

How often does IRCC hold Express Entry draws?

IRCC groups its rounds into clusters roughly every two weeks, and every one of the 59 rounds held in 2026 fell on a weekday, most often a Monday or a Tuesday. The cadence is not fixed: in a busy stretch IRCC runs three or four rounds inside a single week, pairing a program-specific draw with one or more category-based draws, and in quieter periods the gap stretches longer. The pace is driven by Canada's annual admission targets under the Immigration Levels Plan and by how many candidates sit in each category pool, not by a published calendar.

Because IRCC publishes no fixed Express Entry draw calendar, the only reliable way to know when the next round lands is to watch the official rounds-of-invitations page and a tracker like this one that re-dates against it. Whether the next round is a Canadian Experience Class draw or one of the 2026 category-based draws, the cut-off is only set once the round is published.

What CRS cut-offs has IRCC used in 2026?

From January 5 to October 1, 2026 IRCC held 59 Express Entry rounds and none was a general all-program draw: 19 Provincial Nominee Program rounds (CRS 697 to 805), 17 CEC rounds (507 to 523), 10 French-language rounds (382 to 420) and 13 occupation-category rounds (169 to 477).

Cut-off ranges across the 59 Express Entry rounds held between January 5 and October 1, 2026 (IRCC rounds-of-invitations feed on canada.ca). Past cut-offs do not set future ones.

  • Program-specific draws: IRCC invites from one Express Entry program at a time, either the Canadian Experience Class, the steady high-volume in-Canada stream, which cut off between 507 and 523 across its 2026 rounds, or the Provincial Nominee Program, whose rounds cut off between 697 and 805 because every invited candidate already holds a +600 nomination.
  • Category-based draws: IRCC invites only candidates who meet one in-demand category, and the 2026 lines have been French-language proficiency 382 to 420, senior managers 389 to 429, healthcare and social services 467 to 475, physicians 169 to 223, trades 476 to 477, transport 470 and skilled military recruits 368.

This reflects IRCC's stated emphasis on in-Canada candidates and in-demand occupations. Most 2026 categories now require at least 12 months of qualifying experience (up from six), and for physicians, senior managers and researchers those 12 months must be in Canada within the past three years, so check the category criteria before counting on a lower category cut-off. Note that a strong CRS score alone is not enough for a category draw. You must also meet that category's eligibility. Our Carney immigration policy tracker follows the policy changes driving these rounds.

Job-offer CRS points were removed in 2025

As of March 25, 2025, a job offer no longer adds CRS points. If an older draw guide still tells you a job offer adds 50 or 200 points, it is out of date. The biggest remaining booster is a provincial nomination (+600).

When is the next Express Entry draw?

IRCC publishes no Express Entry draw calendar, so the date of the next Express Entry draw is unknown until IRCC posts the round; the three most recent rounds were on September 28, September 29 and October 1, 2026. The most recent Express Entry draw was Round #447 on October 1, 2026, and since the early summer IRCC has issued its rounds in clusters: a Provincial Nominee Program draw, then a Canadian Experience Class draw, then often a French-language or occupation round within a few days. The four most recent Provincial Nominee Program rounds ran on August 17, August 31, September 14 and September 28, 2026, 14 days apart each time. Bookmark this tracker and we will re-date it as soon as each round is published.

Frequently asked questions

Was there an Express Entry draw today, and what was the CRS score?

The table on this page updates from IRCC's official rounds feed, so the top row is the latest Express Entry draw: its date, program or category, invitations issued and the lowest CRS score invited. IRCC does not publish a schedule; every 2026 round has fallen on a weekday, most often a Monday or Tuesday, with provincial nominee rounds first, then Canadian Experience Class, then a category round. If today's date is not in the table, there was no draw today.

When is the next Express Entry draw?

IRCC publishes no Express Entry draw calendar, so the date of the next draw is unknown until IRCC posts the round; the three most recent rounds were on September 28, September 29 and October 1, 2026. Since the early summer the pace has settled into clusters: a Provincial Nominee Program round, a Canadian Experience Class round and a French-language or occupation round within a few days of each other. The most recent was Round #447 on October 1, 2026, a trades occupations category round, which followed Round #446 (September 29), a Canadian Experience Class round, and Round #445 (September 28), a Provincial Nominee Program round. The only confirmed schedule is the official IRCC rounds-of-invitations page, which we re-check and re-date this tracker against after every round.

What were the latest Express Entry draw results?

The latest Express Entry draw was Round #447 on October 1, 2026, a trades occupations category round that issued 3,500 invitations to apply (ITAs) with a CRS cut-off of 476. Before it, #446 on September 29 was a Canadian Experience Class round of 2,000 ITAs at 518, and #445 on September 28 was a Provincial Nominee Program round of 733 ITAs at 725. The lowest cut-off of any 2026 round was the 169 of the February 19 physicians draw.

How often does IRCC hold Express Entry draws?

Roughly every two weeks, though the pace varies. In busy stretches IRCC has held three or four rounds inside a single week, mixing a program-specific draw with one or more category-based draws. There is no guaranteed frequency. The cadence is set by IRCC's admission targets and the size of each category pool.

What is a good CRS score to get invited in 2026?

There is no fixed pass mark; the cut-off is set fresh at each draw by how many people are invited. Across every 2026 round to October 1, Canadian Experience Class draws cut off between 507 and 523, French-language rounds between 382 and 420, and occupation categories between 169 (Physicians) and 477 (Trades), with Healthcare at 467 to 475, Trades at 476 to 477, Transport at 470 and senior managers at 389 to 429. A provincial nomination adds 600 points, which is usually enough to clear the cut-off in a PNP-specific draw.

Why are there no general all-program Express Entry draws in 2026?

Through 2026, IRCC has run only program-specific rounds (Canadian Experience Class and Provincial Nominee Program) and category-based rounds (French, Healthcare, Trades and others). No general all-program draw has been held this year. This reflects IRCC's stated emphasis on in-Canada candidates and in-demand occupations. The mix can change at any round.

Where can I see the official Express Entry draw history?

The authoritative record is IRCC's rounds-of-invitations page on canada.ca, which lists every round number, date, category, number of ITAs and CRS cut-off. This tracker mirrors the recent 2026 rounds for quick reference, but the IRCC page is always the source of truth for live figures.

Does a category-based draw need a higher or lower CRS score?

Category-based draws often invite candidates with lower CRS scores than a comparable general round, because the pool is restricted to people who meet the category (for example, qualifying healthcare or trades experience, or French at NCLC 7+). You still need to be in the Express Entry pool and meet the category criteria, including the qualifying-experience requirement, which is now 12 months for most 2026 categories.

What was the CRS cut-off in the latest Express Entry draw?

The CRS cut-off in the latest Express Entry draw, Round #447 on October 1, 2026, was 476 for a trades occupations category round of 3,500 ITAs. The most recent Canadian Experience Class round (#446, September 29) cut off at 518, the most recent Provincial Nominee Program round (#445, September 28) at 725, and the most recent senior managers round (#444, September 16) at 389.

Do job offers still add points to your CRS score in 2026?

No. As of March 25, 2025, a job offer no longer adds any CRS points toward an Express Entry draw. If an older guide says a job offer adds 50 or 200 points, it is out of date. The biggest remaining CRS booster is a provincial nomination, which adds 600 points and is usually enough to clear the cut-off in a PNP-specific round.

How long do you have to apply after an Express Entry ITA?

If you are at or above the CRS cut-off in an eligible category, you receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) and have 60 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence. The ITA comes from a specific round of invitations, so the deadline is tied to that draw. A licensed RCIC can help you assemble a complete, error-free application inside that window.

Is there a reliable next Express Entry draw prediction?

No. IRCC publishes no calendar and sets each round's category, size and CRS cut-off on the day it runs, so any next Express Entry draw prediction is an estimate read off past rounds rather than a schedule. What the history does tell you reliably is the band each stream has been cutting off in, and that is the number worth planning your profile against.

Is the latest PR draw the same as the latest Express Entry draw?

Yes. The latest PR draw is IRCC's most recent Express Entry round of invitations, the draw that issues invitations to apply for permanent residence to the highest-ranked candidates in the pool. The latest was Round #447 on October 1, 2026: Trades occupations, 3,500 ITAs, CRS cut-off 476. Provincial nominee programs run their own separate draws, which we track on our PNP draws page.
