What were the latest BC PNP draw results?

BC ran two Skills Immigration rounds in August. On August 6, the Care and Build priorities invited 500 or so candidates: 183 early childhood educators (Care: Childcare) at a minimum of 102, 124 priority health occupations (Care: Health) at 84, fewer than five in Care: Education at 68, six in Care: Veterinary Care at 72 (animal health technologists and veterinary technicians, NOC 32104, with a valid professional designation), and 187 priority construction occupations (Build: Construction Trades) at 88. On August 20, the Innovate: High Economic Impact priority invited 337 candidates with job offers at or above $55 an hour and $110,000 a year in NOC TEER 0 to 3, with no minimum score, and a further 265 by points with a minimum of 132. The Entrepreneur Immigration stream drew on August 25: 11 Base and 5 Regional invitations at a minimum of 116.

How BC PNP draws work in 2026

Candidates register in BC's Skills Immigration Registration System and receive a score for the job offer's wage and location, work experience, education, language and other factors; our BC PNP calculator mirrors the grid. The province then issues invitations by priority. Care covers childcare (early childhood educators), health (priority health occupations, including those in the Health Authority stream), education and veterinary care. Build covers priority construction trades. Innovate covers high-economic-impact roles, selected either by a wage floor with no minimum score or by points, and it is where the BC PNP Tech candidates now sit. An invited candidate applies for nomination; nominees in the Express Entry BC option receive 600 CRS points.

The trend across 2026 is clear in the table: Care and Build minimums have fallen steadily from May to August (childcare 115 to 102, health 108 to 84, construction 108 to 88) as the province works through its priority pools, while the Innovate wage floor has been lowered from $62 to $55 an hour to widen the wage-based selection. General draws across all occupations, and the old Skilled Worker and International Graduate general rounds, have not featured this year.

What this means for your profile

• Early childhood educators, priority health occupations and construction trades have a monthly draw with falling minimums; a valid job offer in the occupation is the whole game. Use the NOC code finder to confirm the code is on BC's priority list.
• Higher-paid skilled workers should check the Innovate wage floor first: a job offer at $55 an hour and $110,000 a year in TEER 0 to 3 was invited on August 20 with no score requirement at all.
• Everyone else in the pool is competing for the points-based Innovate selection at 132 or waiting for a priority to be added, and the pool table shows how few reach that line. For many, Alberta or Manitoba is the more realistic nomination in 2026.
• Entrepreneurs face a steady 115 to 118 minimum with small monthly rounds.

When is the next BC PNP draw?

BC does not pre-announce, but the 2026 rhythm points to a Care and Build round in the first half of September, an Innovate round in the second half, and an Entrepreneur round near the end of the month.
